24th March, 2017 Phillauri releases and today is 24th April. Entire one month of Phillauri. So saying that I am reviewing this movie now sounds too late. So let's say this is not a review because it is not. Neither am I some critic to review movie
But let's talk about two things about the film. First is Anushka Sharma the producer and secondly why is Phillauri a perfect try. First of all backing a project like 2015 crime-thriller NH10 and now Phillauri already tells us how confident Anushka is. Both the movies done by clean slate films are totally different from each other but they speak volume about the society. Where NH10 talked about the honor killing in Haryana and also there was a glimpse of male dominating society (aab gurgaon badta hua bacha h toh gun mujhe hi rakhni padegi na) and now Phillauri which talks about some superstitious rituals from early days Thou Phillauri is a light movie, with comedy. Kids are loving the bhootni, and entire family can enjoy the movie sitting together. But the concept is not that mainstream that every producer will be ready to back it. Coming to the second point. Phillauri is the best try in showing how the time has changed and with the going time how people adapt to changes. The two stories run parallel to each other that many times we can connect to all the four characters. The difference between the time is well shown. How the movie is connected to one of the historic event of India, how singing was seeing as something low during that time and how few superstitious rituals are present till now. Phillauri is the best try from a second time producer and a first time director. A brother was ready to get his beloved sister married to literally anyone just for the sake of society. A heartbroken Shashi who could not take the risk of telling the society of the child takes the dangerous step of killing herself. Confused kanan who later on solves the mystery behind the death, passionately in love with kanan is the girl Anu who understands shashi and then the souls themselves. Diljit who was looking like the villain in shashi’s love story turned out to be the the most pity character of the movie. Phillauri shows the difference between almost what seems like two era's very well. Shashi represents all those women of that times you going through hardships were way more than what they were used like. It is two ghosts who in this tech savvy world can bring tears in your eyes. AND SHOUTOUT TO THE NEW RAPPER IN TOWN ANUSHKA SHARMA <3 TODAY IS 1 MONTH OF PHILLAURI AND HERE’S TO ALL THOSE MOVIES CLEAN SLATES WILL BE BACKING!!!

I watched PARI yesterday and trust me since then I am trying to pen down my thoughts into words. Fact that I watched it yesterday and I am writing it today is enough to tell how speechless I am right now. Typing it and clicking the backspace button every now and then is enough proof of my fear of these words not doing justice to what a great performer ANUSHKA SHARMA is. I am not going to write about the film in particular because its for you to watch and I am no critic to review it. Trust me there are ample of them out there. But one thing about which I want to talk but then I am short of words about it at the same time is Anushka. Horror films which I have seen till now in India is more of sexual content filled with all time favourites love songs (I like those songs too :p). This is where PARI stands out with Anushka Sharma leading it. She will convince you to an extent that next time when you get an opportunity to meet her maybe you will think twice ;P (kidding), I mean who will like to miss an opportunity of meeting such an inspiring woman, Definitely I won’t. And actually no one should. At some point she will convince you to feel pity for her and at the very next moment she will scare the hell out of you. The plot on which the story is based is quite apt and convincing. Horror films according to me are complete fiction and this one is no exception to it but still the twists and turns, the revelations and the characters will keep you engrossed in the land of PARI which is definitely not a fairytale. Maybe this time Anushka Sharma coming in your dreams will not be that a pleasant experience. Anushka Sharma has proved her mettle as an actor before as well but with this one she is on an altogether different level. I am so proud to be a fan of such a talented lady who is not only doing such films but also back movies like NH10 and PARI needs so much of confidence and Clean Slate Films is just proving how they are here make stories which will be remembered for its quality for the time to come. If you are a fan of good movies with quality content place your bets on Clean Slate Films because they are here for the win. If you miss this one you are missing one of the finest performance of Anushka Sharma. HANDS DOWN PARI IS TILL DATE INDIA’S BEST HORROR FILM ACCORDING TO ME. AND THANK YOU PARI AND TEAM FOR BRINGING BACK HORROR GENRE WITH GOOD QUALITY FILM. By: AKIRA (Akansha) Celebrate Anushkaholism.....!!!!! Its 8 years of Anushka Sharma in Bollywood 8 years of hard-work, passion, confidence and today she is standing here tall in this industry. Yes she was just a new girl opposite SRK in her first but today produced a movie nationally acclaimed and second in row. It’s just the beginning. The best is yet to come. Dream is what we see through closed eyes sleeping but it takes is focus, hard work, patience and talent to write a journey which acts as inspiration for others. It takes a lot of hard work which results in this...that is you and me discussing her. I am trying pen it down and you taking out time and reading this. On a personal level I admire all her roles but Akira from Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Meera from NH10, Alizeh Khan from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil are my favourites. They inspire me to be a better person. She is not just an actress she is my inspiration. Not that I want to become a actor or want to try in films but her focus, hard-work, confidence is what makes me bow in front of her. Such an inspirational woman she is. Be it the Cheerful, bubbly vivacious Taani, Notorious, loyal and dreamer Bulbul, Driven, independent and ambitious Shruti, Smart, witty and Passionate Ishika, Tactful, Kind and Courteous Simran, Lively, selfless and Adventurous Akira, Carefree, Humorous and energetic Bijali, Alluring Poised and Secretive Rosie,Fearless, intelligent and determined Meera, Diligent, emotional and supportive Jaggu, Modern, Free-spirited and rebellious Farah Ali, Inspirational, responsible and Achiever Aarfa or Conflicted, stubborn and mysterious Alizeh Khan every single character portrayed by her has a different story to tell. I admire Anushka for the great, down to earth and humble human being she is. In her 8 years she has earned more than 9M hearts and still counting... Her truthful, sincere and straight from heart interviews have always earned claps and respect. 2016 she proved every girl is worth appreciation in whatever field she is. She is an example for millions of girls like me who aspire to achieve something. Keep inspiring us Anushka. We are proud of you. In the film industry where still actors are fighting villains and actress are playing role by their side we have with us Meera who not only stands shoulder to shoulder with men but also avenges her husband’s death to be specific fighting against the so called male society. Today when love has just one definition (well I am no where saying this is not true) Akira and Alizeh have taught me love is a pure feeling not always complete and not always as lovers but still done with full loyalty. Every character of hers is an inspiration, a life lesson. Anushka you had glorified 8 years in Bollywood and many more to come.
INSPIRATION FOR MILLIONS OF HEARTS...!!!!! A friendly ghost all set to take over your hearts!! Imagine the journey
A trailer, few songs, some interviews well that’s what it takes to make a movie. Sounds simple isn’t it? This is even easier for me to write. But is it as easy as it is when I write this? What it really takes can never be known to us as fans. We as fans watch the movie of our idols twice, thrice let’s say infinite times. We love some movies we hate some, accept some reject some. An actor says yes to a script in which he or she believes. They give their hard work to it. Shoot day and night. All this just for getting accepted or rejected one Friday by some audience sitting in a theatre who might not even know what the movie is about. That’s what an actor does. What about the producer? For that person the hard work comes with investment. This investment can turn to be a success or even a failure. But this risk is worth taking because our film fraternity loves us. And when I am saying this “I AM PROUD OF ANUSHKA SHARMA for not only believing in the script and acting in it but also investing in it” I am representing each and every Anushkaholic out there. It takes hard work, dedication to work in a movie and it takes much more than this to produce a movie. So when the burden is twice on Anushka, we Anushkaholics are standing here for supporting. Not that she fears being a producer. Talking about the movie Phillauri is all set to release on 24th March which showcases journey of Shashi’s life and also her life after death. Their seems to be a balanced storyline shifting between 1932 and 2017. A friendly ghost, her love interest (which takes the story to way back in early 19’s), a manglik boy who is going to get married. The twist comes when he is married to a tree which is home to shashi’s spirit. So there is an indirect marriage of a ghost to a to be bridegroom. What happens next is to found out on 24th March in a theatre nearby you. CATCH PHILLAURI starring ANUSHKA SHARMA, DILJIT DOSANJH also marking a debut in Bollywood of SURAJ SHARMA and MAHRENE PIRZADA. Produced by CLEAN SLATES FILMS and FOX STAR STUDIOS on 24TH MARCH. Anushka Sharma & Aamir Khan starrer movie pk will be premiered on 21st June, 2015 at 8pm only on SonyTV.
